- Technician dispatch and arrival notifications (e.g., “Your technician is on the way” or “Your technician has arrived”);
- Job or project start confirmations (e.g., “We have begun work on your service today”);
- Job or project completion confirmations (e.g., “Your installation has been completed successfully”);
- Service status updates and incident notifications (e.g., outage alerts, repair updates);
- Follow-up communications after service visits to confirm satisfaction;
- Equipment or hardware shipping and delivery notifications;
- Invoice delivery and payment reminders;
- Contract renewal notices and upcoming term expiration alerts;
- Requests for information necessary to complete a project or service;
- Any other communication necessary to the active delivery of services you have contracted.
4.2 Communication Channels. CTSBoston may use the following channels to send operational communications:
- Phone calls to the number(s) you have provided;
- SMS/text messages to your mobile number (with your consent at the time you provide your mobile number or sign a service agreement);
- Email to the address(es) you have provided.
4.3 Consent for SMS. By providing your mobile phone number to CTSBoston — whether through the Site, a service agreement, or direct communication — you consent to receive SMS text messages from CTSBoston for operational communications related to your services. Standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on service activity.
5. YOUR COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES & OPT-IN / OPT-OUT RIGHTS

5.1 Opt-Out of SMS. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message from CTSBoston. After receiving your STOP reply, we will send one final text confirming your opt-out. 5.3 Opt-Out of All Communications. We will process your request promptly and no later than within ten (10) business days.
5.4 Operational Communications Cannot Be Fully Opted Out. Please note: even if you opt out of marketing and promotional communications, CTSBoston may still send you operational communications that are strictly necessary to deliver active services you have contracted with us (e.g., appointment confirmations, job completion notices, billing statements, and renewal notices). These communications are contractually necessary and cannot be fully disabled without terminating the underlying service agreement.

These parties are contractually required to use your information only to perform services for CTSBoston and to maintain appropriate security measures.
7.4 Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of CTSBoston, our clients, or the public.
7.5 Business Transfers. If CTSBoston is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our Site if your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy as a result of such a transaction.
8. DATA RETENTION

- Website analytics data: retained in accordance with our analytics providers’ standard retention policies (typically 26 months).
When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
